This project demonstrates that green architecture can be fully realized even within a rapidly urbanizing and constrained environment, offering a sustainable living solution for the future.

In the rapidly urbanizing landscape, creating green and sustainable living spaces presents a significant challenge. VCN Nha Trang House stands as compelling proof of how modern architecture can harmoniously blend with the beauty of nature, offering a new definition of multi-functional townhouses.

As a prime example of a modern townhouse in Vietnamese cities facing increasing housing demands and rising real estate prices, VCN Nha Trang House features five levels, including a rooftop terrace. It’s designed to optimize functionality for the diverse needs of family members, with the first and second floors dedicated to business operations.

The third floor comprises two independent apartments along with a common living area, while the main resting spaces are situated on the upper floors, ensuring maximum comfort and convenience.

The building’s facade makes a striking impression with its sophisticated use of finely fragmented and layered natural stone. The long, horizontal lines not only create a sense of spaciousness but also serve as a unique visual highlight. Interspersed among these are cleverly placed sunscreens and green elements that soften the material’s rigidity, while also mitigating direct views and preserving privacy for the interior spaces.

A distinctive feature of VCN Nha Trang House is the strategic placement of greenery throughout the home, from exterior to interior, and from top to bottom, creating a unique microclimatic ecosystem.

The house’s design leverages every potential to optimize space and cultivate a green ecosystem right within the home. The central skylight, along with the greenery, not only provides light and air but also acts as a miniature garden, bringing nature deep into the house. Greenery is also strategically placed along the staircases and corridors, as well as on the rooftop garden, offering a refreshing green sanctuary for the family—an ideal escape from the urban hustle.

This greenery not only provides expansive natural views but also plays a crucial role in improving the microclimate, purifying the air, and enhancing family well-being.

At VCN Nha Trang House, we focus on maximizing natural energy sources through passive architectural solutions, aiming for significant energy savings. In addition to the central elevator system, the staircase system, bathed in light and surrounded by greenery, is designed with three different open orientations within the house, surrounded by plants and natural light, creating a pleasant and relaxing experience when moving around.

Large windows and glass partitions with carefully calculated ventilation slots ensure continuous air circulation, keeping the house consistently airy and cool. Strategic sunscreens help control the amount of solar heat while maintaining light and views, minimizing reliance on air conditioning. Glass roofs with ventilation gaps and wooden louvers placed above stairways help dissipate hot air and bring natural light deep into the interior spaces.

The central skylight continues to play a pivotal role in distributing natural light to every corner, creating a consistently bright and airy space.

The harmonious combination of light, natural ventilation, and air convection design not only significantly reduces electricity consumption for lighting and air conditioning but also provides a unique living experience close to nature, where rain, mist, and sunlight all become an integral part of the living space.

The interior of VCN Nha Trang House is a perfect blend of modern, minimalist design and comfort, creating a luxurious living space.
